I'm a small town girl with big city ambitions. I moved to Columbia, Missouri after high school to attend the University of Missouri (Mizzou), and four years later I somehow managed to earn a degree in Communications (despite my vast amount of partying). I spent the majority of my 20's being wild and carefree, doing as I pleased and living life to the fullest. Then, after seven years of dating, my now-husband and I decided to take our relationship to the next level. We got engaged, purchased our first house, and were married on the white sands of Jamaica in less than a year.
Starting a family was at the top of our newlywed list, so it was of little surprise when we announced we were expecting our first child the following year. Fast forward nine months, and we welcomed a beautiful, blonde hair, blue eyed girl named Taylor Brooke. She is smart, sassy, and the absolute light of our lives.
Two and half (short) years later, our son, Logan Thomas, entered the world and made our family complete. He is the sweetest, happiest baby, spreading joy wherever he goes with his infectious smiles and high pitch squeals. God truly broke the mold when he made this little boy.
My life is normal, dare I say ordinary. It's simple yet complex, and I'm constantly striving to be a better person. I spend my days working a typical 8-5 and my weekends trying to escape routine. It's messy, chaotic, and stressful, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
